This is so wrapped up in my own feelings I barely know where to begin. But I will say that I read a bunch of my own diaries a while ago before throwing them away (maybe a mistake?) and I was so taken by how many insights I had, almost as if I was listening to a young person I didn't know tell me about her life.

That's totally how it feels. I'm also take about how much of the entries are equal parts hopeful and despairing, sometimes in the same sentence.
(Also, did we overlap at EW? I can never recall!)
